Spotlight: Dual turf winner (7f, good) who won on AW at Newcastle in December, but he's not easy to predict and was beaten 11l when sixth at Lingfield (7.6f, good to firm) last month; has bit to prove again after that and he's still 6lb higher than for his last win; regular hood is removed.

Spotlight: Unexposed 4yo; won a Redcar maiden (7f, good to firm) and a Newcastle novice (7f, AW) towards the end of last summer but he was well held on handicap at Newcastle in October; still has potential but this is competitive on his return and he needs to find more progress.

Spotlight: Turf maiden winner who won two AW handicaps last autumn; his last success was off 7lb lower but he reappeared with a good third at Newmarket (7f, good) last month and he's still lightly raced on turf; in the mix.

Spotlight: Versatile sort who has won four times at up to 1m but his last success was in August 2024; reappeared with a close third off 2lb higher at Redcar (1m, good to firm) in April but he's not easy to predict and was tailed off at Thirsk three weeks ago; yard also runs Akkadian Thunder.

Spotlight: Useful juvenile who ended his 3yo campaign with a win in a Newcastle handicap (7f, AW) in October; been gelded and left Andrew Balding for 150,000gns since; remains feasibly treated off only 3lb higher than last time and he needs a close look on return for new yard.

Spotlight: Kept fairly busy in the last 12 months and he supplemented a 6f Windsor win (good) in September by scoring over 7f at Yarmouth (good to soft) in October and at Chelmsford (AW) in December; has held his form with some solid efforts this spring and he could make a serious impact if this sets up for his closing style.
